USA Populations & Land Usage

INSTRUCTIONS (Updated 8/19/5):

  1. Download USA Populations and Acreages with fGIS zip file.
  2. Extract it's files.
  3. Within the Populations folder, double click on the icon to open the fGIS program.
  4. It will bring up a popup. Select the USAAcreagePopCensus file.
  5. Use fGIS to zoom in and out. Uncheck data layers (themes) or zoom in to get a better picture of data.
  6. Make at least five observations about the data from place to place across the States.
  7. Based on these observations, write a one page essay that "captures" what the data tells you.
